Chuck Romano was five years old when he received a Marshall Brodien

TV Magic set as a gift from his parents. Shortly thereafter, Chuck saw HOUDINI, the 1953 motion picture starring Tony Curtis. These two influences started Romano on a magical journey and he has never

looked back.

Since his first public appearance at the age of seven, Chuck has amazed and amused thousands with his unique brand of entertainment. In addition to performing; Romano is an author, collector and historian of magic.

In 1997 Romano wrote and published the ground-breaking book,

The Art of Deception. The book was honored by the Society of American Magicians with their prestigious Henry Ridgely Evans History Award. Since then Chuck has authored several books on magic and his award-winning work has appeared in several journals and publications, including MAGIC magazine, The Linking Ring, Genii, and many more.

Romano wrote, directed, co-produced and starred in his own cable television special in 2000. The special was recognized with three nominations for the Cammy Award -- public access television's equivalent

of the Emmy.
